Admit Card for CSC VLE Project Examination to be commenced from 1-March-2014

National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Imphal in association with Manipur Science & Technology Council (MASTEC), Imphal and National Institute of Technology (NIT), Manipur held a one day workshop on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in Imphal.
The inaugural function of the workshop was attended by Y Thamkishore Singh, Commissioner (GAD, CAF & PD), Government of Manipur as Chief Guest; Th Prameshwor Singh, Director of NIELIT as President while Dr S Birendra Singh, Director of NIT, Manipur; I Ibocha Singh, DIG (Range IV) of Manipur Police and Th Surendranath Singh, Director of MASTEC as Guests of Honour.
Prof Manas Sanyal, HOD, Department of Human Resource Management, Bengal Engineering and Science University and Dr Subhasis Mukherjee, HOD, Dept of Biophysics, Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics, Calcutta University were Resource Persons of the workshop.

NIELIT is set to commence its ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level courses on Multimedia and Animation, Technology (MAT) at the National level. According to NIELIT, the course aims to give effective coverage on image, audio, video processing and editing including 2D/3D animation as well as web based multimedia as per the prevailing market trends.
The MAT-O Level course has been designed by NIELIT under the chairmanship of Prof. Santanu Chaudhury, IIT Delhi with experts drawn from academia and industry as members. Learning Outcome: Develop understanding of the basic multimedia systems, tools and techniques and acquire the basic skills to implement components of multimedia productions, web designing and gain basic knowledge on animation production skills.
On successful completion of the course, candidates may opt for job roles such as Multimedia Production Assistant, Multimedia Technician and Web Developer etc.
Applications have been invited by Coordinator MCA, National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology, Calicut for admission to MCA Courses of Year 2013-14.
For admission to MCA program, candidates are required to have obtained any of the following degrees recognized by Calicut University.
A Bachelors Degree in any Discipline of 3 year duration with mathematics(this does not include Business Mathematics or Business Statistics] as one of the subjects with at least 50% marks the course undergone, under the regular program recognized by Calicut University. 5 % of relaxation in marks will be allowed in the case of SEBC Candidate and for SC/ST Candidates and persons with physical disabilities pass minimum will be fixed as the eligibility as per Government rules.
Candidates who have completed the course and are awaiting the result and who expect to qualify on or before 31.12.2013 may also be considered for provisional admission. On the date of admission, the students under Semester system must have passed all Semester Examinations except the final semester examination and he/she shall produce the original mark lists of all semesters up to the pre-final semester examination, while the candidates under year system must produce the original mark lists of all years up to the pre-final year of graduation, failing which they are not eligible for consideration.
How To Apply:
Application forms can be collected by post or in person from National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology,Calicut office on payment of Rs. 400 as cash or DD drawn in favor of Director, NIELIT Calicut, payable at State Bank of India, Chathamangalam (Branch Code-2207).
Application forms can also be downloaded from the link: http://www.calicut.nielit.in/General/MCA_Application_Form2013.pdf, and such applicants must enclose DD of Rs.400/- (drawn as mentioned above) for application fee.
All payments to NIELIT can be done as either:
1. Demand Draft to be drawn in favor of Director, NIELIT Calicut, Payable at State Bank of India, Calicut NIT Branch(2207). The DD should reach here before the last date to apply.
2. Using the pay in slip available in our web site(Pay in slip) , through any branch of SBI (where this format is accepted). The original counterfoil should reach here before the last date to apply.
3. The fees can be paid directly into our account from any bank where core banking facility is available. The details required for direct payment are as given below.

NIELIT announces Admit Card for 40th CCC(EMEC) Examination October 2013 through their official website. Candidates are advised to check the spellings of their name, mother’s name and father’s name may report the same to the respective Regional Centre of their region. No request for correction will be entertained at CCC Section, NIELIT, New Delhi. No request for change in details will be accepted after appearing in the exam. Please do not forget to indicate your Roll Number while writing to Regional Centre.
